Ladies and Gentlemen

Good Morning

     Previously, I would like to thank to Mr. Yandi who has given me time to speak in front of you.

Before speaking any futher, Let me introduce myself, my name is Silvi Sucira Listian, I am from the second semester of communication faculty garut university.

     Ladies and Gentlemen ! , On this special occasion, I would like to tell you something about Merry Riana. Let me start by asking you the following question. do you know Merry Riana? What you mean about success?

Well. She is a Entrepreneur, Trainer, the author, and Professional Motivator in Asia.

She has written much book  that is “Million Dollar Dream “ , “Dare to Dream Big” , “A Gift From a Friend” , and last “Langkah Sejuta Suluh”.

Let me speak about it more detail.

     Million Dollar Dream" (true story of Merry Riana) written  by Alberthiene Endah, the book that tells about the life journey of  Merry Riana who started her business career with full of stories - the story of the struggle of a very inspiring and highly motivating for young people.

She is diligent, smart, hard work, and patient.

     Oke guys, I would now focus on.

Beginning with the outbreak of violence in May 1998 was the beginning of a change in the life of Merry Riana. The plan, which has been organized in such a way to continue her study at the University of Trisakti vanished already. Because the situation is not supported at that time, at least, Merry Riana has sent by her parents to study in Singapore.

      Bravely and the support from the government of Singapore, Merry Riana continued study at the Nanyang Technology University. This is the time when everything started. Only With 10 Singapore dollars a week to have lunch, Merry Riana should be able to feed herself only 1,4 dollar everyday. The first year was very difficult for Merry Riana.

     But that conditions made Merry Riana become tough and she was determined that she should be capable to survive. She thought harder how to earn much money for her financial. She did anything of many kind of work and the opportunities had came , even she often did some failure but by her effort and she never give up until she could make her dreams come true that she will get one million dollars by the time she was thirty years old. And then Merry Riana get 1 million dollars when she was 26 years old.

     We also can be like Merry Riana as I said earlier that by diligence, hard work , patient and smart , Merry is a successful entrepreneur, motivator, and author of best seller books in Singapore now. it made Merry Riana success and get one million dollar when she was 26 years old.

     So , the most important thing about the book is Dare to Dream Big , how to be something who success, what should you do to get financial , and we must patient because in the long run happiness will come for us as fast as possible, Be the candle in the dark.

     The last, why i choose the story ? because firstly she is my inspiration, the spirit of success is depedent on the courage to seek and to strive. One of the keys of her success is her great investment of time an money in the development of her people. Merry Riana is truly a testimony to the power of the human spirit and a great role model to youths that the greatest of dreams are possible despite the odds they face
